Huntsman Springs
Gazing at the panorama of the Teton Range — the snow-capped peaks, the meandering streams and the open valley — it’s hard to imagine any way to improve upon Mother Nature’s supreme artistry. Recognizing the near perfection of the natural landscape, Huntsman Springs offers a golfing experience in harmony with the unspoiled environment of the American West.
With the sound of water trickling beside you, the feel of the creeping bentgrass beneath your shoes and the shadow of the Grand Teton at your back, you will be transported into a golfer’s paradise — a place where your worries will be replaced by your strategy for sinking the next putt.
The 18-hole course, designed by renowned golf architect David McLay Kidd, sculpts each challenge into the existing contours of the valley’s wetlands. The grand-scale, links-style course, built for firm and fast play, weaves its way harmoniously in and out of water features. Five sets of tees are designed to accommodate players at all ability levels, from the avid to the amateur golfer.
With a local airport only a few minutes away, Huntsman Springs is easy to get to, but feels worlds away. Stepping into the quiet town of Driggs, Idaho, is like stepping back into a simpler time. “It’s the kind of place where your blood pressure goes down the moment you arrive,” said David Huntsman, managing partner and son of founder Jon M. Huntsman.
Huntsman Springs, a family-operated golf course community in the heart of Teton Valley, is a sanctuary of relaxation and adventure all at once. Jon M. Huntsman invites you to share in what he calls his “favorite place in the world.”
